Vertical storage systems—commonly known as Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs)—consist of two vertical tray columns and a central extractor that automatically retrieves and delivers trays to an ergonomic access window. Unlike carousels, these systems dynamically assign storage locations based on item height, maximizing vertical space and reducing wasted air.
