Software
The command center for your warehouse machines—issuing real-time instructions to conveyors, sorters, storage, and robots for precise, high-performance control.
Trusted by industry leaders
The SRT Warehouse Control System (WCS) is the command center for your warehouse’s machines and material handling devices. It operates at the equipment level, issuing instant instructions to conveyors, print & apply equipment, in-motion scales & scanners, sorters, automated storage units, and robots to move goods where they need to go.
With SRT WCS orchestrating your hardware, you gain precise control, high performance, and full visibility into every automated process on your warehouse floor. It’s designed for operators and engineers alike—providing a powerful yet clear interface to keep technology running smoothly.
Features
SRT WCS gives you granular control over warehouse automation and the peace of mind that everything is running at peak efficiency.
Take charge of your warehouse automation. SRT WCS directly interfaces with a wide array of equipment—from vertical storage systems and carousels to robotic arms and autonomous mobile robots. As orders flow in or tasks are triggered by your WMS, the WCS translates them into action: it tells a Ferretto VLM to retrieve a specific tray of parts, signals a Fanuc robot to pick or place an item, or directs a Tusk mobile robot to transport a pallet. Because it communicates in real time with each device, tasks are executed without delay and in the optimal sequence. Conveyors won’t back up, lifts and robots won’t sit idle—the WCS keeps everything moving in sync according to the operational plan, freeing your higher-level systems and staff to focus on overall workflow rather than micromanaging machines.
SRT WCS is built for speed, reliability, and adaptability on the warehouse floor. It manages equipment with millisecond responses—routing totes, diverting packages, and activating machinery at just the right moments to maintain peak throughput. If conditions change, the WCS adapts instantly: if one sorter lane is getting full, it diverts items to another line; if a robot or lift goes down for maintenance, it automatically reassigns tasks to alternative devices or alerts an operator. It continuously balances workloads—queuing or throttling tasks to prevent any single machine from becoming a bottleneck—and synchronizes multi-step processes so each step flows smoothly into the next. The outcome is higher throughput, fewer jams, and consistent performance, even as order volumes and product mixes fluctuate.
Stay in control with an operator-friendly interface that brings all your equipment into view. SRT WCS offers interactive dashboards and control screens that let your team monitor the status of every connected device in real time—which conveyors are running, which VLM tray is being retrieved, how many orders each robot has processed, and more. Color-coded indicators and alerts immediately flag issues such as a stopped conveyor, an emergency stop, or a sensor fault, so you can respond right away. The system keeps detailed logs of equipment activity and throughput statistics to help you analyze performance and plan maintenance. Need to take manual control? Authorized users can send direct commands—reposition a robot, reprioritize an urgent order, or reroute a batch—all through the WCS dashboard.
SRT WCS is designed to slot into your technology stack effortlessly. It can serve as the equipment control layer beneath SRT’s own WMS/WES or integrate with third-party warehouse management systems just as easily. The software comes with programmable interfaces and open APIs, allowing it to communicate with virtually any make or model of material handling equipment—whether you’re running legacy conveyor systems or the latest robotics. This flexibility means you can expand or modify your automation without overhauling your control software: adding a new automated palletizer or AS/RS shuttle is as simple as configuring its interface in WCS. Modular and highly configurable, it executes your own routing rules, priority logic, and exception handling exactly as needed—a future-proof foundation that grows with your warehouse.
